Exercise intolerance is inability, or decreased ability, to perform physical exercise, at the expected level/duration of someone w/ a specific physical condition.

  • Primary Sx of chronic diastolic heart failure
  • Dysfunctions involving pulmonary, cardiovascular, or neuromuscular systems
  • Behavioral causes, also playing a part in it
  • Unusual SOB
  • Mylagia (muscle pain)
  • Tachypnea (abnormally rapid breathing)
  • Tachycardia (HR exceeding normal range)
  • Increasing muscle weakness while exercising
  • After exercising, experience unusually severe:
    • Pain
    • Severe headache
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Dizziness
    • Occasional muscle cramps
    • Extreme fatigue
    • Other negative effects
